Software for Logistics & Trucking

Replace the dispatch spreadsheet, the group texts, and the folder of loose paperwork with tools built around how your loads actually move.

Trucking and logistics run on timing. A load is booked, a driver is assigned, a pickup window opens, a signature is needed, and an invoice follows. When each of those steps lives in a different spreadsheet, inbox, or phone thread, small gaps become late loads, missed paperwork, and slow billing. Delvix Studio builds custom software that connects those steps: a dispatch board your team can read at a glance, a portal drivers can use from the cab, quote forms that capture the right details the first time, and a place to keep compliance documents where you can find them before an audit or a customer asks.

Logistics & Trucking workflow

Common problems

What logistics & trucking teams tell us

  • Dispatch lives on a spreadsheet that only one or two people fully understand, and it is out of date the moment someone steps away.
  • Customers call or email asking where their load is, and someone has to phone the driver to find out.
  • Drivers send proof-of-delivery photos and rate confirmations through text messages that have to be re-saved and re-filed by hand.
  • Quote requests arrive as emails and calls with missing details like weight, equipment type, or pickup window, so the back-and-forth eats the day.
  • Insurance certificates, permits, driver qualification files, and other compliance documents sit in folders and inboxes, and expiration dates are tracked from memory.

What we build

Tools built around your workflow

Dispatch board

Dispatch board

A live view of loads, drivers, and equipment with statuses, pickup and delivery windows, and notes. Dispatchers assign and reassign without retyping, and everyone sees the same information.

Driver portal and mobile app

Driver portal and mobile app

A simple interface for drivers to view assigned loads, confirm pickup and delivery, upload photos and signed paperwork, and flag problems. Built to be quick to use on a phone, not to replace your people with a dashboard.

Quote request form and quoting tool

Quote request form and quoting tool

A structured intake form that collects lanes, dates, equipment, and special handling up front, then lands in a queue where your team can respond using your own pricing rules.

Compliance document management

Compliance document management

A central, searchable place for driver and carrier documents, with expiration dates, reminders before things lapse, and controlled access for staff.

Customer tracking page

Customer tracking page

A link customers can open to see the status of their load, so your team spends less time answering the same status call.

Before and after

How the day-to-day workflow changes

BeforeAfter
Dispatcher updates a shared spreadsheet and texts the driver the details.Dispatcher assigns the load on the board and the driver sees it in the portal with all pickup details.
Driver texts a photo of the bill of lading, and someone saves it to a folder later.Driver uploads the document to the load record, where billing can find it immediately.
Customer emails for a quote and the team replies asking for missing details.Customer completes a structured quote form and the team starts with complete information.
Insurance and permit expirations are tracked in someone's calendar.Documents carry expiration dates and the system sends reminders before they lapse.
Customer calls to ask where a load is.Customer opens a tracking link, and staff handle only exceptions.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can you replace our dispatch spreadsheet without disrupting daily operations?

Yes. We usually plan a phased rollout, starting with importing your existing data and running the new board alongside the spreadsheet for a short period before cutting over.

Do drivers need to install an app?

Not necessarily. A mobile-friendly web portal works for many fleets. If you need push notifications or offline use, we can build a mobile app with React Native or Flutter.

Can you integrate with our ELD or GPS provider?

If the provider offers an API we can use, usually yes. We check the provider's documentation and any access fees before we scope the work.

Will this handle DOT and compliance requirements for us?

We build tools to organize documents and track dates. Meeting regulatory requirements remains your responsibility, and we do not provide legal or compliance advice.

How do you price a project like this?

It depends on scope, such as the number of user roles, integrations, and whether you need a mobile app. We can scope a fixed-price first phase so you see working software early.
